He is a member of the AVMA, FVMA and UF Alumni Association.Dr. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but his passions include internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue and reconstructive skin surgery. Bucki moved to South Florida where he worked as an associate in general practice in Boca Raton for 1 year and Royal Palm Beach for 11 years. Additionally, he received training in acupuncture from the Chi Institute of Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Reddick, Florida. Eric Bucki graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2000 and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She is passionate about Vets4pets, a local non-profit created by the HAHF, that helps low income and indigent families with low-cost veterinary care.ĭr. She is also a board member for the HAHF (Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation). Panzarella is active in the education of children and enjoys speaking to children about veterinary medicine. Panzarella enjoys spending time with her family, running, yoga, international travel, snowboarding and is learning to play the guitar.ĭr. When she is not at Bayshore Animal Clinic, Dr. The poodle is up front helping in reception at BAC almost every day. They share their home with “Oz”, a bearded dragon, and Luciana “the poodle”. In 2015, they rescued two yellow labs from Southeast Guide Dogs, AJ, and Cotton, that had medical issues. They have two sons who love animals and nature. Panzarella and Drewes have owned Bayshore Animal Clinic since 2012. She strives to treat every patient as if it was her own.ĭrs. Panzarella assisted in the design of footwear worn by the rescue dogs in the 911 aftermath and founded “Paws For Peace”, a non-profit organization that raised money for abandoned pets post 911. Panzarella’s areas of interest include feline medicine, pain management, soft tissue surgery, geriatric care, and general wellness. She also spent the last 3 years as a staff veterinarian at a feline specialty practice and loves cats! She served as a board member for the Santa Barbara and Ventura Veterinary Medical Association. Panzarella has worked in emergency and critical care for 12 years at 24-hour referral and specialty hospitals. To further her education she completed a one year medical and surgical internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Panzarella attended Ross School of Veterinary Medicine, with her fourth-year clinical rotation at the University of Missouri. She spent her senior year abroad at Swansea University in Swansea, Wales. Panzarella received her bachelor’s degree in 1997 from Colorado State University, with a major in microbiology and a minor in music. Drewes is an active board member for the HAHF (Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation).ĭr. He is a private pilot and enjoys boating, fishing, camping, scuba diving and most of all, spending time with his family.ĭr. Drewes grew up in the Tampa area and enjoys the beauty of the gulf and the outdoors. Drewes is a veterinarian for FEMA and was deployed twice to assist in the recovery following Hurricane Katrina.ĭr. He is certified in bone plating and TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy). His special interests are critical care, emergency, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, pain management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This brings diverse experience to Bayshore Animal Clinic with exposure and treatment modalities for a wide variety of cases. He worked closely with board-certified specialists in diverse fields such as internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery. Drewes practiced from 2001-2013 as an emergency and critical care clinician and in general practice in Atlanta, Georgia, Ventura, California, and Sarasota, Florida, before joining Bayshore Animal Clinic. Drewes completed his clinical year at the University of Missouri and also completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio.ĭr. Drewes and Panzarella won the small animal surgery award that is bestowed upon the top team of surgeons in each graduating class. He attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in pursuit of a diverse education offering more surgical experience. Jacob Drewes graduated in 1996 from the University of Findlay with a double major in biology and pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in chemistry.
